Just a quick note to let you all know that I had a fantastic holiday and look forward to an exciting new year. Yeah, I got the regular stuff and gifts… Snausages, Pupperoni’s, and even an annoying squeak toy that my OCD demands I dismantle and de-squeak immediately!
So, although I didn’t get any great surprises this year, I still feel a sense of excitement in the air for Deliver the Dream’s first event of the 2017 season. Red Hot & In-Style Date Auction is being held on March 23rd at the amazing FATVillage. The evening features some pretty amazing opportunities to bid… and go out on unique and fun dates with singles from all over South Florida.
In my role as chief security officer at Deliver the Dream – I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibility that maybe this year we add a date opportunity for me… you know… maybe a sweet little poodle looking to share a single strand of spaghetti??? Yeah, I always seem to feel like a third wheel!
Obviously, not everyone has to worry about the things I do. If you would like to throw caution to the wind… and bid on an opportunity to meet new people, or win a date package… then you don’t want to miss Red, Hot & In-Style. Keep your eyes open for information on this event… buy your tickets early… and secure your opportunity to enjoy a really great evening! And yes, I’ll be there looking forward to my own “strand of spaghetti” date with Fifi!!!
If you need more information on either participating as a Bachelor or Bachelorette (this is your chance to make things happen in 2017)… or information on purchasing tickets for the event itself, feel free to give us a call at DTD at 954-564-3512.
With a sniff and a lick,
Chief Security Officer, Deliver the Dream

Grants are the lifeblood of Deliver the Dream, helping to provide healing respite retreats for families dealing with critical illness, crisis or bereavement free of cost. If you know of a foundation, private donor or corporation that would like to send one or more of our families on a retreat weekend, please contact Venetia Timm at 954-564-3512 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and she will follow through with research and an application. If you know the foundation or donor personally, it helps tremendously to have an “open door”. We will step in and do the rest!
The recent American Resort Development Association – ARDA Conference in Orlando January 26-27 hosted more than 100 professional women in the resort industry. Each year the group chooses a Florida charity to support with proceeds from silent auction and raffle sales. This year, Deliver the Dream was fortunate to be the recipient of over $2,000 from this wonderful group! Deliver the Dream’s name was proposed by our long-time supporter, Bluegreen Vacations, and we are very grateful for their continued generosity.
What an awesome surprise visit with Roy Rogers. Roy has been an amazing advocator for Deliver the Dream. Roy stopped by the office and gave us a butterfly cocoon. The beautiful butterfly hatched over this past weekend! Thank you so much Roy!
We would like to recognize Cody as our Volunteer of the Month. Cody went on his first retreat in 2016 for families who have a parent with multiple sclerosis. He did a wonderful job as a family pal and worked very hard to make sure his family was relaxed and well taken care of the entire weekend. Cody’s family loved him dearly and enjoyed the weekend very much! Thank you, Cody, for joining us and we hope to see you again soon on many more retreats!
The Malave-Mercado family from Altamonte Springs (From the left- Maria and Rita) attended the recent retreat for families who have a parent or child with multiple sclerosis. “All the staff; such a great team. This retreat has been a source of excellent information. My daughter smiled and played like never before. Thank you all!”
