Dear Deliver the Dream Friends,
YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Yes, it’s true that without the support of others… we would not be able to continue helping so many.
I am so enthusiastic that 2016 will be coming to an end with the knowledge that our supporters, donors, and volunteers have made this a very, very productive year at Deliver the Dream!
Since 2002, Deliver the Dream has been thrilled to have had nearly 8,000 family members attend a healing family retreat where they were able to begin the process of reconnecting again after facing a crisis or serious illness. Mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters…families who were facing many hurdles were given the opportunity to rebuild a trust and faith in one another, to rekindle a confidence that together they could face and overcome anything!
As we all begin to think about our own feelings of gratefulness this Thanksgiving - I ask you to continue thinking about Deliver the Dream’s families and the impact you can make. Please continue your support by making a generous, year-end, tax-deductible gift to our program.
Please use the link below to make a personal contribution to our efforts. Each gift – no matter how big – makes a difference. Remember… with your continued support, we will never be limited in our ability to help families heal… one retreat at a time. Love and appreciation to all!
With gratitude and respect,
Paul S. Withrow & Security Guard Fred

We would like to recognize Eric Fields, Learning and Development Director at ChenMed, as our Volunteer of the Month. Eric has been involved with DTD for many years and is a valued volunteer. As a committee member for Red Hot in Style 2, Eric works tirelessly to secure sponsorships and auction items. The event could not be as successful as it is without his contributions. Eric had the opportunity to go on his first retreat last month and get a firsthand look at the mission of Deliver the Dream at work. The retreat for children with cancer was sponsored by Aetna and was eye opening for him. He was such an asset to the volunteer team and for this we are very thankful! For all that you do for Deliver the Dream, Eric, we applaud you!
The Rix family from St. Augustine (From the left- Zoe, Derek, Gunner, Andrea) attended the recent retreat for families who have a child with cancer sponsored by Aetna. ‘Many, many, many thanks for including our family in this past weekend's retreat. I am so glad we went. It was a wonderful experience for our entire family. We all needed that time to bond, heal and reconnect and make new friends. We can't say enough about the awesome staff, volunteers and amazing families that we had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, the Rix family’
Adolfo Colmenares, Adam Colmenares, Adrian Colmenares and Yelithze Useche really enjoyed FIU’s homecoming game verse LA TECH on October 22, 2016. “Thanks for the memories. Your support is highly appreciated.”
Families who have a parent with multiple sclerosis
Aetna sponsored our October retreat for families who have a child with cancer. They are an incredible partner and we are so grateful for their support. Thank you also to all the Aetna employees who volunteered their time during the weekend retreat.
Now that the holidays are around the corner, please remember to use Amazon Smile for all your purchases. You are shopping the same Amazon site but helping DTD as well!
